Spurred by Vanessa Vale is an outstanding western romance.  This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited time for reading.  It is a M/F/M menage though, so it may not be for everyone.  The only thing I didn't like about this book is it's written in first person, alternating point of view format.  Kady travels to Montana after being notified that she inherited a fortune and a ranch along with 4 half-sisters that she didn't know she had.  Riley is the lawyer handling the estate and Cord is his friend that owns a security firm and they plan to make her their's.  Cord, Kady and Riley's story is loaded with drama, humor, action, suspense and 5 alarm fire heat.  I enjoyed reading Spurred and look forward to my next book by Vanessa Vale.  Spurred is book 1 of the Steel Ranch Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
