Great historical romance
A Precious Jewel by Mary Balogh is a well written historical romance. Ms Balogh has delivered wonderful, lovable characters, drama and a bit of sizzle in this sometimes sad story. Gerald and Priscilla's story is all about choice and survival. A Precious Jewel is book 2 of the Stapleton-Downes Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I enjoyed A Precious Jewel and look forward to reading more from Mary Balogh in the future.
