Lassiter's Law is a fabulous romantic suspense by Rebecca York. Ms. York has provided readers with a well-written book populated with an outstanding cast of characters. Laurel is Teddy's nanny and when she wakes in the middle of the night to the sounds of Teddy's mother being killed by his father she grabs Teddy and runs. Sam is a PI and is hired to find Laurel and Teddy. Sam and Laurel's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzlin' sex, action and suspense. I loved reading this book and look forward to my next book by Rebecca York. Lassiter's Law is book 23 of the 43 Light Street Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
